Description of Project:

The Climate Adaptation and Mitigation Program for the Aral Sea Basin (CAMP4ASB) is a project initiated by the World Bank to enhance regionally coordinated access to improved climate change knowledge services for key stakeholders in participating Central Asian countries. The project aims to increase investments and capacity building to address climate challenges common to these countries through three main components:

regional climate knowledge services, regional climate investment facility, and regional and national coordination.

Description of actual services provided by our staff within the assignment:

  • Development and realization of the ToT capacity building workshop, leveraging our extensive network in the Central Asia region.
  • Identification and provision of current information on GIS, R programming, hydrological modeling, and climate change impact assessments for the Central Asian region.
  • Monitoring and evaluation of the integration process of acquired skills and knowledge into university curricula.
  • Evaluation and monitoring of the training process, providing recommendations for program improvement.
  • Development of interviews and media articles to be published on relevant platforms, enhancing project visibility and outreach.
